The interesting journey of electrons | Powerplant to your home
Переглядів 19 тис.3 роки тому
We know electorns flow through a conductor at drift speed, which is a very low speed (~100 mm/s). However, when you switch on light, the elctrons instantly reach it. How this is possible? Welcome to the intersting journey of electorns from the powerplant to your home.
The physics behind Newton's cradle!

Understanding Inductors!
Переглядів 613 тис.3 роки тому
The working of inductors seems somewhat unintuitive for most of the students. When an AC voltage is applied across it, at the maximum voltage current flow through an inductor is zero and at the zero voltage the current flow is maximum. Let's learn why the inductors are having a crazy behaviour in a logical way.

    I almost had epilepsy after watching the video,because I learned before that centripetal force was actually internal and centrifugal is external,but not.

      @@luis-sophus-8227 I don´t know, which inconsistencies you are referring to. Please explain. As far as i know, Henry Cavendish measured the value of the gravitational constant in 1798 with a deviation of just 1,2% to the actual measurements. That is pretty close, considering the quality of the measurement equipment of that time.

      @@Tanaquil_de_Lammerfors A deviation 1,2% of the actual experiments which also provide inconsistent results. The experiment also assumes that gravity is at play where any slight disbalance and sysmic activity will change the results, static electricity is stated to hold a far stronger effect than the supposed gravity. If this experiment were to be conducted at a larger scale then it would be interesting to see the results, nobody I know has tried to heighten the stakes, most likely because it's not going to favor their idea.

    How chemistry books and blogs teaching science can make it insanely difficult to understand? Thank you man! You didn't have this lifesaving video explaning it. you had to study really hard to aquire this knowledge, and now you're sharing it with us. Thank you very much

    Centripetal force is what you need to grasp to understand circular motion. Centrifugal force does not exist. People need to stop explaining it as if it does. The only reason people do not understand the highly essential centripetal force is because educators tend to confuse them by mentioning centrifugal force along with centripetal force.

    I am thinking round apple fall on ground due to gravitational force then why moon moving around instead of falling down on ground due to gravitational force. Neither let it go away nor it let it fall on the ground.

    • @santifpc3749
      @santifpc3749 Місяць тому

      Alright so maybe if you paid attention to the video you would know. The reasons why the apple falls into the Earth's surface and the Moon doesnt are these: 1.- If you take a look at the formula for universal gravitation, and as it is SAID in the video you are commenting, the gravitational pull decreases by the square of the distance between the 2 analized objects. The Moon is very far away from the Earth, but not enought to scape its pull, the apple in the other hand, is right by its surface, where the force exerted in it thanks to the gravitational field of the earth is much much stronger. 2.- The Moon has inertia (or centrifugal force) thanks to its orbit around Earth, which as you should know, given you are watching physics videos, is a force exeded in objects when on a circular motion, that pulls tangentially to its path, which already stated, is circular. And as an added bonus to sprinkle some more knowledge into you the reason this motion doesnt stop is because space is frictionless, meaning there is no recistence to the motion of objects, thats why the Moon can keep ots orbit indefinitely, or the Erth's orbit around the Sun, etc. This is thanks to Newton's first law of motion, that if no force is applied on an object, its motion will not change. The reason here on Earth things do eventually stop moving is thanks to either surface friction, viscocity of fluids, or air recistence.

      the moon is permanently pulled away by its tangential momentum which is equal to the gravitaional force of earth

      @santifpc3749 Місяць тому

      if what you mean by this (cuz I have absolutely 0 clue of what you are saying, please improve your english) is ti ask why the moon doesnt fall to the earth the asnwer is because of the inertia or centrifugal force it has thanks to its orbit, as you know space is a frctionless surface so this keeps going forever. also what do you mean by "course speed"

    The earth, the hand, etc… create a centripetal force, that’s why the moon, the tenis ball… star spining. So I don’t understand why you say the tension has to increase to provide more centripetal force. The reason I don’t understand is that the centripetal force is increased so the object spins faster. Cause effec issue.
